چکیده
The amount of rainfall can be used to estimate the runoff that enters a reservoir. Runoff is influenced by land use, and soil type greatly affects will occur. This study discusses development hydrological model with application Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC-HMS) in Karangmumus watershed using data has been verified field divided into zones based on permeability testing laboratory. With help Geographic Information System (GIS) Geospatial Hydrological Model (HEC-GeoHMS) applications, it possible identify flow Lempake Dam Kalimantan simulating rain process. was developed HEC-HMS recording daily events from 2009 2019. period, then, zoning entered results conservation curve method (SCS-CN), then discharge transformation, calculation water loss, including routing Muskingum SCS-Hydrograph applications. Validation of a watershed model without calibration
[1] Traditional approaches for the validation of watershed models focus on the ‘‘goodness of fit’’ between model predictions and observations. It is possible for a watershed model to exhibit a ‘‘good’’ fit, yet not accurately represent hydrologic processes; hence ‘‘goodness of fit’’ can be misleading. Instead, we introduce an approach which evaluates the ability of a model to represent the obse...
متن کاملCalibration Weighting to Compensate for Extreme Values, Non-response and Non-coverage in Labor Force Survey
Frame imperfection, non-response and unequal selection probabilities always affect survey results. In order to compensate for the effects of these problems, Devill and Särndal (1992) introduced a family of estimators called calibration estimators. In these estimators we look for weights that have minimum distance with design weights based on a distance function and satisfy calibration equa...
متن کاملA CN-Based Ensembled Hydrological Model for Enhanced Watershed Runoff Prediction
A major structural inconsistency of the traditional curve number (CN) model is its dependence on an unstable fixed initial abstraction, which normally results in sudden jumps in runoff estimation. Likewise, the lack of pre-storm soil moisture accounting (PSMA) procedure is another inherent limitation of the model. To circumvent those problems, we used a variable initial abstraction after ensemb...

in this study, application ofweap model (soil moisture method) have been investigated for simulating hydrological behavior in ahar-chai basin. according to the development of pressurized irrigation systems in this basin, since 2005, two models were carried out for two periods, pre-pressurized period (1998-2006) and pressurized period (2006-2013). irrigation method in first model was surface irr...
متن کاملCannonsville Reservoir Watershed SWAT2000 model development, calibration and validation
The Soil and Water Assessment Tool version 2000 (SWAT2000) watershed model was utilized to simulate the transport of flow, sediments and phosphorus to the Cannonsville Reservoir in Upstate, New York. The available datasets for model development , particularly the phosphorus input and water quality calibration data, in this case study are unique because of the large amount of watershed specific,...
